Have you ever heard the word “Nanotechnology”?

“Nano” means 1 divided by 1,000,000,000.

If you cut a meter stick to one tenth of its length, the stick will be 10 cm. If you cut this 10 cm stick the same way another eight times, you would get a stick that is one nanometer.

In the small world, the nanoworld, the rules are quite different than those controlling ordinary life, and various mysterious phenomena occur in the nanoworld.
“Nanotechnology” is the technology used to control the nanoworld and make it useful to us.
