Purpose and background of research
Diversifying properties of organic molecules provide various functional materials. The laboratory research ranges from the molecular design and synthesis to the preparation of condensation system. Through experiments, we aim to clarify the relation between the structure and the characteristics.
Methodology and originality
We totally analyze the characteristics of condensation system emphasizing the conductivity, in terms of magnetic, optical, and thermal properties. Not only the crystal structure, but also the structure of molecule and the property as the molecule are clarified to obtain guidelines for the development of new materials and functions.
Major insturments
- Single crystal X-ray diffractometer
- Thermal variable conductivity testing system (from 2K to RT (room temperature))
- Superconducting quantum interference device fluxmeter
