JST to Fund 5 Projects in EIG CONCERT-Japan within the Framework of the Strategic International Collaborative Research Program (SICORP)

 On December 27, 2017, Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) announced that JST has approved funding to five multilateral joint research projects, in collaboration with eight funding agencies from eight European countries* in the framework of the EIG CONCERT-Japan (*Czech Republic, France, Germany, Norway, Lithuania, Slovakia, Spain, Turkey).

 EIG CONCERT-Japan is a collaborative research project between Japan and European countries. The fourth Joint Call was conducted from May 2 to July 14, 2017 in the research field of "Efficient Energy Storage and Distribution", to which a total of 29 proposals was submitted. Following in depth evaluation and discussion among funding agencies participated in the Joint Call, it has been decided by the Science Committee Meeting that JST will jointly fund five projects in this field.
