JST is to fund two research projects coordinated by Japan and Sweden for Phase 2 in the field of "Innovative Solutions, Community Design and Services for Elderly People" within the framework of the Strategic International Collaborative Research Program (SICORP)

 On February 28, 2019, The Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) decided to fund two projects in collaboration with Sweden within the framework of the Strategic International Collaborative Re-search Program (SICORP).

(1) "Continuous health status monitoring of elderly people using flexible skin patch sensors"

(2) "Solutions for independence and social participation of active, pre-frail and frail seniors by innova-tive food and monitoring technology systems combining with physical exercise program"

 Four projects were selected by the call for research projects in the fields of "Innovative Solutions, Community Design and Services for Elderly People" in 2016. After two-years activity of Phase 1, two projects were selected to continue their research in Phase 2.
